Find y when x=14 if y directly with x2 , and y= 72 x = 6

If y varies directly with x^2

Let y=mx^2 where m is constant

When x=6, y=72, thus value of m = (y/x^2)=72/36=2

Thus equation becomes y = 2(x^2)

Keeping x=14,

y==2(14^2) == 392
