The order of operations is:

Parenthesis
Exponent
Multiplication
Division
Addition
Subtraction

So division comes first:

[tex]\sf 15-12\div 3=n[/tex]

[tex]\sf 15-4=n[/tex]

Now subtraction:

[tex]\boxed{\sf n=11}[/tex]

The order of operations is PEMDAS. The order we perform operations is parentheses (P), exponents (E), multiplication (M), division (D), addition (A), subtraction (S). We have two operations to do, division is done before subtraction.

15 - 12 ÷ 3= n
15 - 4= n
11=n

ANSWER: n= 11

Hope this helps! :)
