true. all squares have opposite sides which are equal in length. this is the same for rectangles.

A parallelogram has opposite sides parallel and also equal in length, also the angles are equal, for example angles that are "pink" are the same and the angles that are "green" are the same. So squares, and even rectangles and rhombuses I think are all a Parallelograms
