Graywater
Graywater is the untreated soapy water
from onboard sinks, showers, washing machine, and the wastewater from cleaning
the boat with detergents, soaps and bleaches. Any domestic wastewater can be classified
as graywater but it does not include blackwater. Gray water is a major polluter
of the marine environment, especially in ports and coastal areas.
