The Millet was domesticated from wild species in more northerly subhumid regions of East Asia. Domestication of plants and animals in East Asia, included Millet, soyabeans, peaches, and apricots in subhumid regions, Rice, mandarin oranges, kumquats,water, chestnuts, and tea in humid regions.
