The name given to cell division of a eukaryotic cell is mitosis. This is the stage where the nucleus of the cell splits and it copies and splits it's DNA. There's a second part of division known as cytokinesis, where the cytoplasm divides between the two new daughter cells. Though, if you're looking for one word, mitosis is the most common stage.
