A rectangular window is 1 meter high and 2 meters wide. What is the perimeter of the window in meters? What is it in centimeters?

The perimeter is the total length of all sides of the shape. 

It is 1 meter + 1 meter + 2 meter + 2 meter = 6 meters

1 meter = 100 centimeter

6(100) = 600 centimeter
