Since the smallest integer is [tex]n[/tex], then [tex]n + 1[/tex] and [tex]n + 2[/tex] are the consecutive integers after that. If you add them all up, it becomes [tex](n) + (n + 1) + (n + 2)[/tex] or simply [tex]3n + 3[/tex].
