Specific crimes against domestic and international terrorism were enacted after the Oklahoma City bombing in the year 1993. The US code which was Terrorism Act 2012 classifies terrorism into international terrorism crimes and domestic terrorism crimes. International terrorism occurs outside of the territory of the US and domestic terrorism occurs primarily within the territory of the US.
