First, make an equation. 
The equation would be: 6 / 1/3
You have to divide 6 by 1/3 because the board is 6 meters long and you are dividing it into pieces of 1/3.
6 / 1/3= 18
There will be 18 section created from the 6-meter-long board. Therefore, the answer is 18.

If their all vut into 1/3 it will be 6/3 but uou just got to simplify it later
