The expression is [tex]x^2-4x-xy+4y[/tex].

Factorizing x in the first two expressions and -y in the second two, we have:

[tex]x(x-4)-y(x-4)[/tex]. Now the common terms is (x-4), so factorizing it, we have:

(x-4)(x-y).

Answer: (x-4)(x-y).
