y=-2x+5 2y+4x=10 solve the system of equations and explain to jai what the solution should be

y= -2x+5    .....1
2y+4x=10    ....2 
you substitute the value of y in the second equation and that will be 
 2(-2x+5) +4x =10
-4x+10 +4x =10
0=0 so for  any value of  x the system of equations has infinite solutions
