During transcription what does mRNA do

It copies the DNA into another, congruent strand... it does that when cells divide. It also combines two DNA... like when a baby is growing in mommy..... the mRNA takes DNA from the sperm and egg and combines it into the first cell DNA. The DNA grows and is copied many times, until the baby forms.

the DNA will unzip and copy itself but insted of having adenine to thymine you would now have adenine to uracile.
