People sometimes use "inherently distinct" as a saying. 
lets say my brother was out swimming and he saved someone from drowning and lets say, your grandma did the same thing long time ago and so did your mother. Thats distinct from inheretly because you acted fast and saved that person.

Means, they're both same by trait. Like coffee and the coffee bean...they're inherently distinct.
