x/3 - 2 = 25...add 2 to both sides
x/3 = 25 + 2
x/3 = 27...multiply both sides by 3, eliminating the 3 on the left side
x = 27 * 3
x = 81 <==
================
-2x - 6 < 12.....add 6 to both sides
-2x < 12 + 6
-2x < 18...divide both sides by -2, and change the inequality sign
x > -18/2
x > - 9 <==
when dividing/multiplying by a negative in an inequality, u have to change the sign
