The watery environment that the DNA and ribosomes float within is called the nucleoid region. The nucleoid region is an odd shaped part inside a cell that comprises all or most of the genetic material within an entire cell.
Cytoplasm is a thick solution ( almost jelly like ) that fills each cell and is enclosed by the cell membrane. It is mainly composed of water, salts, and proteins!!!
