A stomach is the level of organization called organ level. There are six
levels of structural organization in the body - chemical, cellular,
tissue, organ, organ system, organizational level. Although the lower levels
of organization are present within the stomach, and the stomach itself
is part of a higher level of organization, this is only within the
context of other organs.
