Area = (Pi)r^2                                  (pi is 3.14159......)

A = (pi) x 5^2

A = 25(pi)

Area = 78.54 cm^2 (to 2 d.p)

Area of circle = [tex] \pi r^{2} [/tex]
=22/7 X 5X5
=450/7
=64.2857142.........

therefore area of the circle = 64.2857142......cm
