start by subtracting 60  from both sides

solve for x.
c=85x+60

Flip the equation.

85x+60=c

Add -60 to both sides.

85x+60+−60=c+−60

85x=c−60

Divide both sides by 85.

85x/85=c−60/85

x = 1/85 c + −12/ 17
