How did the Allied victory in WWII change the world?

I would say for one, if the Axis powers had won, we'd be living in a totalitarian world, divided into German, Italian and Russian spheres of influence.

the Allied Victory was also an impulse to promote world peace (precisely because of what i wrote above: the alternative would have been awful) and international cooperation
