Lynch Syndrome quite simply put is caused by genetic predisposition to the illness (hence why you probably wrote hereditary). Lynch Syndrome or Nonpolyposis Colorectal Cancer Syndrome is a syndrome which is the most common risk factor for Colon Cancer.
