what did people think of president hoovers response to the great depression

Most people did not like it because they ended up homeless, in debt, and out of work

Answer:

The depression started before President Herbert Hoover took office in 1929. But it changed into Great depression in the country with no jobs and homes. The people think that President Hoover's policies for the economic crises in the country were not up to mark. People also believe that he continued the economic crisis without stopping it.
