What is the number pattern for 2, 7, 26, 101, 400,?

2*4=8-1=7

7*4=28-2=26

26*4=104-3 = 101

101*4=404-4=400

the last number is multiplied by 4, then subtracting that number order in the sequence (2 was first so they subtracted 1, 7 was second so they subtracted 2, etc)
