Epinephrine is most likely to be released into the bloodstream in order to accelerate one's heartbeat. This usually occurs when one is in danger, thus, preparing the individual for a fight-or-flight response. This hormone is also most commonly known as adrenaline as it is secreted by the adrenal glands.
