    Volume of a Sphere = [tex] \frac{4}{3} [/tex]πr³

⇒  [tex] \frac{4}{3} [/tex]πr³  =  36π in³
by comparing the left and right hand side

⇒ [tex] \frac{4}{3} [/tex] r³ = 36

⇒   r = ∛(36 ÷  [tex] \frac{4}{3} [/tex])

      r = 3

Now,
  the surface area of a sphere = 4 πr²
⇒  surface area of a sphere = 4 × (3)² × π
                                             = 36π in²
