when x = 1,  y = (5 - 3) / -2  = -1 ,  let x1 = 1 and y1 = -1
2y = 3x - 5
so slope = 3/2

y - y1 = m(x - x1)

y -(-1) = (3/2)(x - 1)

y + 1 = 3/2 ( x - 1)  <-----    answer
