Explain the effect that "h" has on the function f(x) = a(x - h)2 + k.

It can be deduced that from the equation, the value of h is deducted from x. This means that the graph of the function will be shifted h units to the right. Its effect to the equation is that the original value for x will be deducted by 2 in this new equation.
