When sound waves moves from the air through solid, sound waves travels fast and it is heard well. Resonance is the reason why we hear the sounds through solid objects. Sounds waves is a vibration of a particular object that travels through solid, liquid and air. Sounds can travel in solids 6000 meters per second.
