Passes through (-6, 2) and has a slope of -1/2

y-y₁=m(x-x₁)

Plug everything in.

y - 2 = -1/2(x + 6)

Simplify.

y - 2 = -1/2x - 3

Add 2 to both sides.

y = -1/2x - 1
