The electronic fetal monitor will allow fetal heart beat which is necessary in the process of labor and before it could be delivered. This is a requirement to see how the baby in the womb is holding up and if it is still safe to proceed with the procedure with the given circumstances. This will also ensure if the baby has the right amount of heart beat as the labor is being done.
