Well from what I know *I'm a 7th grader* this is a Unit rate problem so to find the unit rate we do 8/5 which is equal to 1.6 paintings per hour *used a calculator for this lol*
in 5 hours he finishes 8 paintings 5 hours is equal to 300 minutes if you want to know how long it took him to paint one you divide 300 by 8 which gives you 37.5 he take a 37 and a half minutes to finish one painting
