6x-12y=24
x=-6y-4
6(-6y-4)-12y=24
-36y-24-12y=24
-48y=48
y=-1
6x-12(-1)=24
6x+12=24
6x=12
x=2

6(2)-12(-1)=24
12+12=24
 24=24 true
and
-(2)-6(-1)=4
-2+ 6=4
4=4 true
