Calpurnia might have been wrong to bring Jem and Scout to church because remember, during this time period, there was a lot of racial discrimination. Calpurnia attended an all-black church, and Jem and Scout were white! One black woman, Lula, actually dislikes whites so much that she confronts Calpurnia and yells at her, calling her names for bringing the children here. By bringing the children to church, Cal put them in potential danger, because of racial discrimination.
