The area will be 1/9 times the area of the normal dimension. Furthermore,
Area of the dimension:
3×6=18 square feet
Area of the scale drawing;
(3×1/3)(6×1/3)=2. Now, we see that the area of the scale drawing is 2/18 or 1/9 times the area of the normal dimension. Hope it help!
