hence
[tex]\frac{7.48 gal}{1 ft^3} =1[/tex]

unit conversion
[tex]\frac{3000 ft^3}{} \times \frac{7.48 gal}{1 ft^3} = 3000 \times 7.48 gal[/tex]

3000 x 7.48 =22440
