We will have to get the length of the smaller hexagon
Area= 3[tex] Area =( 3\sqrt{3} )/2 ) a^2[/tex]
a= 4.3in length of smaller side of hexagon
using the ratio and proportion we will get the bigger hexagon side length
4/7=4.3/x
x= 7.525
Substitute to Area formula of hexagon
Area of large hexagon = 147.12 sq in
