The sides of a triangle are in the ratio of 1:2:2 and the perimeter of the triangle is 15 feet. The length of the shortest side is?

so let the sides be x,2x and 2x

so putting in eqn;

x+2x+2x = 15
5x=15
x=3

so the shortest side is x and
that is 3 ft ......answer !!
