Solve 1/x=1/y+1/q for q (The backslashes are replaced for a fraction sign)


Work so far: xyq(1/x)=xyq(1/y)+xyq(1/q)
yq=xq+xy
yq-xq=xy

Solve for q

i think the answer is    q= -xy/x-y
