Alright so what I think your asking is how to find a common denominator so if I am correct you should give me brainliest 

Alright so say you have 5/6 + 3/12 So for the 5/6 You would want to times them by 2 so that the 6 also equals 12 so you would have 10/12 and 3/12 would stay the same because its the denominator your trying to get and then you just add them both together so I hope this helps you
