we have:

  • 2 miles ---------- 23 minutes
  • 15 miles ‐---------- x minutes

So:

[tex] \frac{2}{23} = \frac{15}{x} [/tex]

[tex]= > x = \frac{15 \times 23}{2} = \frac{345}{2} = 172.5 \: mins[/tex]

[tex] = > x = \frac{172.5}{60} = \frac{23}{8} = 2.875 \: hours[/tex]

Answer: 2.875 hours

Ok done. Thank to me :>
