I believe that B is the answer. There are actually multiple disadvantages to using solar energy including the lack of reliablility, the amount of resources needing to be used to create solar panels, and even the lack of energy when there is no sun.
The reduced dependence on fossil fuels is an advantage and the same is involved when it comes to choice C. It is also important for it to become a renewable source so there isn't a lack of needed resources.
