If a fish swims 7/8 of the depth of a 32-foot deep lake, how many feet down did the fish swim?

8/8 would be 32 so 7/8 would be 28 because 8 x 4 = 32 which would make each eight equal four.

Total * fraction = fraction of the depth
[tex]32* \frac{7}{8} =28ft[/tex]

So the depth the fish swam down is 28 feet.
