slope = change in y / change in x

slope for (-2, -3), and (5, 4)

x1 = -2, y1 = -3, x2 = 5, y2 = 4

Slope = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1) = (4 - -3) / (5 - -2) =
(4 + 3) / (5 +2) = 7/7 = 1

Slope =1 ,  Option C

Hope this explains it.
