to find a perimeter of an area you have to add the measurements of all the sides if one side is 10m and another is 12m then you simply have to add 10m twice and 12m twice which would be equal to 44m
perimeter = length+length + width+width
therefore 10+10+12+12= 44
perimeter= 44m
