First, let's find the X Intercept
You are going to have to set y to 0 
-8x + 4(0) = 24 
Any time you multiple a number by 0, the answer is 0
-8x (+ 0) = 24
Now we are going to divide each side by -8
-8x/-8 = 24/-8
x = -3 

Now let's find the Y Intercept 
You are going to have to set x to 0 like we did with the first one
(-8(0)) + 4y = 24
4y/4 = 24/4
y = 6 

Your intercept is (-3,6)
