how to solve for:
if it takes 16 minutes to read 7/8 of a chapter, how long will it take to read the whole chapter?

16=7/8x
divide both sides by 7 so it becomes:
2 2/7 =1/8x
Now multiply both sides by 8
16 16/7=x
18 2/7=x
Therefore it will take 18 2/7 of a minute to read the whole chapter
