Well we know that 7 is 1 less than 8. so when doing 7+7=14, we can see that adding 1 to 14 can help you figure out what 7+8 is. I would draw 14 blue circles and 1 red circle, represents how adding 1 circle to 14 gets you 15 which is he answer to 7+8 :)
