Why would it be difficult for plan animal cells to make cell energy if there wasn't sunlight

It would be more difficult for plant cells because they wouldn’t be able to perform photosynthesis. Without photosynthesis, plants cannot make glucose (energy). Animals can get energy by eating other organisms (food).
