Answer:

3x - 5y = 17

3(9) - 5(2) = 17

27 - 10 = 17

x = 9

y = 2

---------------------

9x - 15y = -4

I believe this equation has no proper solution. Every "solution" I have found ends with repeating decimals & fractions.
