3. What is the force of gravity on a 10 kg rock on Mars (0.38 g)?

To work this out we divide the weight of the rock on earth (10kg) by the force of gravity on earth (~9.81m/s^2) and times it by the gravitational force on Mars.

3.711 x (10/9.81)
= 3.78
